Does HyperPulse work without WiFi or cellular?

Yes. HyperPulse is a BLE-only device. It communicates directly with the coach's iPad or phone over Bluetooth — no WiFi, no cellular, no internet required. The coach's device can upload to the cloud later when on WiFi, but the in-game capture happens entirely offline.

On-field operation

Up to 30 meters of line-of-sight BLE range between patch and coach's tablet. The tablet records all metrics live and stores them in the local app cache. Zero internet required during the game.

Post-game sync

When the coach's device returns to WiFi (locker room, school WiFi, home), the app syncs the day's session to the cloud. Athletes and parents see their data on their own devices after sync.

Field-without-WiFi scenarios

Rural football fields, indoor venues with no guest WiFi, multi-school tournament venues — HyperPulse works in all of these. The only thing that can't happen without internet is real-time parent visibility (the parent app needs cloud sync to read fresh data).
