Built by a parent.
In the open.
I'm Joshua. I build HyperPulse from Central Illinois - and like you, I know what youth sports actually costs a family. The checks. The Saturdays. The drives. The seasons that fly by and leave nothing behind but a trophy and a hoodie that doesn't fit anymore.
The big sports-tech companies took pro-team hardware - GPS vests, coach dashboards, subscriptions - and shrunk the price tag without ever shrinking the assumptions. The result is gear built for sports scientists, sold to parents. I'm building the opposite: a small sensor your kid forgets about, an app that talks like a human, and a record your family owns outright.
Two promises drive every decision. First: your kid's data is not the product. No GPS, no ads, nothing sold, parent-owned forever - that's the architecture, not a marketing line. Second: we don't ship until the hardware is boringly reliable. This category is littered with sensors that flaked at the worst moment. So I publish honest readiness instead of taking pre-orders on promises - you can watch the validation happen on the readiness page.
If you're a parent, start with the sample report. If you're a coach, take a pilot. And if something doesn't look right anywhere on this site - tell me. The claims discipline around here is sacred.
